The controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the GDPR is Global Service GmbH, Eupener Straße 67, 50933 Cologne. The data is also processed within the framework of corporate data protection at the relevant location or subsidiary of your application and as a shared service center “Human Resources” at Global Assekuranz Versicherungsmakler GmbH, Guerickestraße 25, 80805 Munich. Purposes of Processing and Legal Bases
We process personal data about you for the purpose of your application for an employment relationship, to the extent necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship with us. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a), (b), and © GDPR and Section 26(1) in conjunction with Section 8 Sentence 2 BDSG. Initially, we process your data based on the consent you have given us under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Furthermore, we may process personal data about you to the extent necessary to defend against legal claims asserted against us from the application process. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest being, for example, a burden of proof in a procedure under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). If an employment relationship is established between you and us, we may further process the personal data already received from you for the purposes of the employment relationship under Section 26(1) BDSG, based on the employment contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and based on the statutory provisions relating to the employment relationship under Article 6(1)© GDPR, if this is necessary for the performance or termination of the employment relationship or for the exercise or fulfillment of the rights and obligations of employee representation arising from a law or a collective agreement, a works or service agreement (collective agreement). Your data will be used exclusively for the application process and will not be passed on to third parties or used for advertising purposes.

Types and Categories of Data, Recipients of Your Data
We process all data necessary for processing your application and filling the advertised position. These are evident from our online application form and include, in addition to personal information, proof of qualifications, proof of school education, information on professional development and qualifications, or other information you have provided to us in connection with your application. Furthermore, we reserve the right to process publicly accessible, job-related information provided by you. These are, for example, data you have published in your profile when applying via job portals. If your application documents are complete, your data will be processed by our central HR department at Global Service GmbH. If your submitted profile matches a position advertised by our subsidiaries, we grant access authorization to the HR department or management of the relevant subsidiary to view your profile. The data received from you during the further application process will be documented in your applicant profile. If suitable, your applicant data will be processed by our HR administration at Global Assekuranz Versicherungsmakler GmbH in accordance with contracts under Article 28 GDPR using the applicant and personnel management software REXX (rexx systems Headquarters, Süderstrasse 75-79, 20097 Hamburg). We use the communication data (telephone and email) you provide to coordinate the further application process.

Data Sources
We generally process only data that you have provided to us through our online applicant portal, voluntarily or on your own initiative, or that you have published in job portals for your application. If you have applied via a job portal or a social media service, we receive the data you have transferred to us there based on your consent.

Storage Duration
We store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the decision on your application. If an employment relationship between you and us does not materialize, we may continue to store data to the extent necessary to defend against possible legal claims, e.g., under the AGG. In this case, the application documents will be deleted six months after the rejection decision is announced, unless longer storage is required due to legal disputes. Unsolicited data will not be considered for your application and will be deleted immediately. Incoming paper documents – unless explicitly requested as part of the ongoing application process – cannot be processed and will be handed over for file destruction. If you use our job alert function, we will use your data until revoked to inform you of the availability of a job offer according to your selection criteria.

Your Data Protection Rights
Every applicant has the right to request information from us as the responsible party under Article 15 GDPR, correction under Article 16 GDPR, deletion under Article 17 GDPR, restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, and under Article 20 GDPR, the personal data concerning them that they have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You can revoke any consent given to data processing at any time with effect for the future. The data processing carried out until then remains unaffected. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority responsible for us under Article 77 GDPR: Depending on the federal state, this can be viewed at https://www.datenschutz-wiki.d...;

Right to Object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in the context of the application process at Global Group. If we process your data based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR or to protect legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object to this processing if there are reasons arising from your particular situation that speak against data processing. The objection is informal and should be addressed to the responsible party. In the context of the ongoing application process, your data will then be deleted according to our deletion procedures.

Necessity of Providing Data
The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, nor are you obliged to provide it.
